Memorial Day Weekend Updates

Yesterday was a fantastic day to be in worship together. It was great to see so many visitors. There were lots of weddings, reunions, graduations, and other events taking place this weekend. Special congratulations to Joe and Emma Brandt on their wedding. I hope you have the opportunity to spend time with some special people this weekend, and that we all spend time remembering the sacrifices which have been made by individuals and families for the freedoms we all share in this nation.

Josanne will be leading a lady’s study group that will be running for about 10 weeks this summer. Those who want to participate will be reading together Brené Brown’s book, The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are. There will be discussion and fun activities that go along with this study. The first session will be this coming Friday, June 2nd at 6:30pm at NDMC’s building. IMPORTANT DATES! Please don’t forget that next Sunday, June 4th we will not be meeting at NDMC, but the joint community service will be held at Carlock Christian Church beginning at 10am. Please remind one another of this and make sure everyone remembers!

The following Sunday, June 11th, will be the first day of our Summer schedule. There will be no Sunday School, and the Worship Service will begin at 9am with fellowship time immediately following. Don’t forget the change in schedule!
