Kickoff and Anniversary

What a great day yesterday at NDMC! Sunday School started again with lots of people in all the classes. Then the worship service was encouraging and well-attended. It was so good to see everyone there!

The young people packed 325 school bags to be sent and used by students who live in places where their families wouldn’t have access to school supplies. Thanks to everyone who contributed, to those who prepared the school bags, and to those who got the supplies ready for the young people to pack! You can still contribute to the costs of these bags. Just designate the offering to “School Bags”.

Today is also Josanne’s and my 30th Anniversary. Thank you to everyone who congratulated us. Thanks especially for the flower arrangement which was so appreciated. We are thankful to be a part of this congregation. As I said yesterday during the service, we feel our marriage says more about God’s work in our lives than it does anything about us.

I hope that you’ll come out and join us next Sunday. Sunday School is 9 am and the Worship Service is at 10:10 am.
