Outdoor Worship
Our outdoor worship service was not without its challenges, but I think most people who attended thoroughly enjoyed the change of pace. The wind blew around our papers, but it also kept us at a more comfortable temperature. I want to say a big thank you to the many who were involved with planning and putting on the service. Thanks to Cala Laible and Betty Zook for doing a lot of the planning and helping get the equipment. Thanks to Brenda Miller for helping to set up and for doing a great job on the keyboard despite the difficulties posed by the wind. Thanks to Ross Bogue for helping set and running the sound.
We finished up our series on Joshua, and will begin the book of 1 Corinthians next Sunday, which we carry us through the summer. Remember that next week our worship service will begin at 9am! We’ll be streaming at that earlier time as well.
As a congregation, we seem to go through these times when there are so many people in need of our prayers. It seems like we are in one of those times right now. Make sure to take a look at the prayer list and spend some time interceding to God on behalf of those who are on it.
I continue to pray for our congregation here at North Danvers, and I hope that you do too.
God bless,
Brian
