Sundry Happenings
There are lots of things happening at North Danvers right now, so I’m going to use this E-gram to catch us all up and make sure we are on the same page.
We started the pictures for the directory yesterday, and several already had their pictures taken. Remember that we will be taking pictures again next week after the worship service. We really want 100% participation for this, because the pictorial directory is such an important tool for newcomers and for all of us! Many, many thanks also to Laura Kruger for doing such a super job on the pictures for us.
We will be having potluck this Sunday after the worship service. Come prepared to enjoy this time of food and fellowship together. Also, if you know someone who does not normally get or read the E-gram, would you take a moment to pass this information on to them as well?
Next Sunday evening is the AWW youth group auction and supper. The meal begins at 5pm. Come out ready to help the youth group fund raise!
Last night was our Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? It was a great event. Thanks to all who participated, and thanks especially to Twila and the Fellowship team for coordinating this for us.
There are several upcoming events that you can read about elsewhere in this E-gram. The Mother-Daughter make-it, take-it is May 5th. Remember also the Franklin Graham prayer rally which will be held June 14th. Contact Twila soon if you want to go.
I’ve heard several positive comments recently about the number of great things that are going on at NDMC. Ervin Stutzman commented on how vibrant our congregation is. Let’s encourage those who are planning these events and making them a reality by participating when we can.
Also, as I mentioned Sunday, let’s pray for our farmers who are out this planting season. Let’s pray for their safety, and let’s pray for God to provide abundantly through the crops that are being planted.
God bless you all and I hope to see you next Sunday!
Brian
