A Busy Weekend

There was a lot going on this weekend! Pie baking is always a busy time. This year the bakers baked 216 pies! Well done to all of those who participated! The youth group also had a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night. Though there was a bit of a lower turnout, they still were able to add a good amount of donations to their mission trip fund. Thanks to Jesse and Amber, and the Melicks, as well as the youth group members themselves.

This coming weekend is busy, too! Don’t forget that the bake sale coming up this weekend. You can find a link to purchase items for pick up elsewhere in this E-Gram. The bake sale will be open from 7am to 2pm on Friday. Coffee will be available in the Fellowship Hall as well. So come and participate! Don’t forget the online auction is also live right now. You can find that information in this E-Gram as well.

The GLAPS Pancake and Sausage breakfast is this Saturday 8-10am. Come out and support a great cause and eat some good breakfast! Finally, if that’s not enough of a carb load for you, the GLAPS pastry fund-raiser is going from now until the 28th.

I want to also say thank you again to those who always take care of shoveling and moving our snow. Your work is very appreciated! The weather this week looks to be much nicer than last week. I hope you are able to get out and enjoy it! We all may need to walk a bit more to work off all those goodies!

God bless, Brian
