Only 45 minutes or so before our Danvers Days worship service, it was raining hard. It looked like we might be rained out, but the clouds parted and the sun came out. With the breeze it was very pleasant. Many thanks to Bryan Burris and those from First Presbyterian Church for putting together the service. It was nice to be together. There were close to 80 who braved the elements to worship together. The sermon from Matthew 5:38-48  was challenging and the music was really great. The Presbyterians also had a post-service brunch that many stayed and enjoyed.

We’ll be back at the NDMC building next Sunday at 9am. We’ll have a special guest from Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission. John Fumana, the Co-Executive Coordinator of AIMM, will be bringing our morning message and he’ll also be sharing a bit more about our mission partner during the fellowship time. If you know of anyone who would be interested in hearing more about this mission, make sure to invite them.

School has started back and the summer is nearly over. It looks like we’ll get some break from this heat later this week. I hope all is well with you and yours. We look forward to seeing you soon.

God bless, Brian
