Danvers Days 2026

You couldn’t have asked for a nicer morning yesterday for our community worship service at Danvers Days! The music was great and it was good to see so many out. There was an enjoyable brunch put on afterwards. I heard nothing but great things about the food. Thank you to all who participated and volunteered!

Also a big thank you to all who have been working to freshen up the church building. Thanks to the cleaning crew and others who have shown up to get ready for the 175^th Anniversary coming up. Thanks also to all of those volunteering to make that weekend a great success. Thanks for those who’ve been sprucing up outside. A special thanks to Jim McGowan, who in the midst of the busy clean-up after the storm took time to clean the carpets throughout the building!

Make sure you are inviting others to come to our Anniversary celebration. There’s a detailed announcement in this E-Gram with all of the events taking place. We have postcards and flyers in the Fellowship Hall that you can use to let others know what’s going on that weekend.

We’ll be back to our series on Ephesians next Sunday. Let me leave you with one verse from Ephesians 4:29, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen,” (NIV). It’s so much easier to tell down than it is to build up. Let me a community who find ways to encourage one another.
