There are many thanks to be offered this weekend. First, Josanne and I would like to thank you so much for your recognition of our 10 years of ministry here at North Danvers. Thank you for the cards and gifts, and thank you for the special reception after worship yesterday. As many of you said, it is hard to believe it has been 10 years.
I’ll echo what Rick Kaufman said during the service yesterday morning, a HUGE thank you to all who came out for the cleaning day on Saturday. It was perfect weather for those who worked outside. There was a really good crowd who was able to make the landscaping look much nicer. There was also a good crowd working inside—cleaning windows, the wood trim, the pews, and many other areas. Thank you all so much for your efforts. They made a great difference.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our worship service next week will be held at the chapel at Funk’s Grove. We’ll be joining with the Presbyterian Church. There will be a potluck picnic following in the picnic area. Make sure to invite someone, and if you think someone won’t hear that we won’t be meeting at NDMC give them a reminder.
Also, remember that the week following we’ll be meeting at the Danvers’ bandstand for the Danvers Days worship service.
It’s nice that the weather is a bit more pleasant than what we had. I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy it some this week.
God bless,
Brian
