Yesterday was another good day to be together. After our worship service, we had a nice potluck. It was so good to see such a large group stay and spend some time in fellowship together. Then we had our annual meeting. Many thanks to those who contributed to that. We were able to give honor to some of the people who have volunteered at NDMC for literally decades.
Next week we will begin a short series on the Sermon on the Mount during our worship service. Next week we’ll be look at Matthew 5. There Jesus begins to talk about what it means to be a citizen of God’s Kingdom. He describes the attributes of someone who is being changed to be more like God’s desire for us. He focuses upon the internal change in our hearts, rather than just the outward actions.
The information for our directory is out on the tables in the Fellowship Hall. Make sure to stop by to see if the information is correct. If everything looks good, if you initial your entry, or put a check next to it we will know that you’ve looked it over.
There are also pictorial directories available if you’d like one. Please just take one per family. If you’d like an electronic copy, contact the office and we can send you one as well.
Continue to be faithful in praying for our congregation and continue to invite others to come and participate with us here.
God bless, Brian
