Work Day

Last Saturday saw a good-sized group of intrepid souls converging on the church building for work day. It was a great turnout and there was lots done to spruce up around the building. A big thank you to all of those came out to lend a hand. We all appreciate your efforts.
We are continuing our series through the Book of Psalms this Spring. Yesterday we looked at Psalm 16 and saw that “The Lord is our Refuge,” and next week we’ll look at Psalm 32 and see that “The Lord Forgives our Sins.” Psalm 32 begins:
“Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
whose sin the LORD does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.” (Psalm 32:1-2, NIV)
It is certainly a blessing that God has given us forgiven of sins through Jesus. We are thankful for that.
Mark your calendars for September 11-13. We’ll be celebrating our 175th Anniversary that weekend. What a milestone! There will be more details to come, but start spreading the news to anyone who might be interested in being there. We will have several different activities over that weekend, culminating in a special worship service on that Sunday.
It’s been so nice to see our in-person attendance continuing to increase. If you haven’t worshiped with us lately, make a point to be there this Sunday and bring along a friend!
Hope to see you soon!
God bless, Brian
