Doug Luginbill
It was very nice to have Doug and Paula Luginbill in our services yesterday. Doug is the Conference Minister for the Central District Conference. During Sunday School, Doug reminded us about the vision of the CDC and told us about some things which are happening within the conference. He also graciously allowed time for questions and answers. During the worship service, Doug continued our series on Matthew’s parable by looking at the Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast.
Josanne was in Florida yesterday with her parents, and sent her greetings. She wants everyone to know that she missed seeing everyone. I’m going down to join her for a few days. I’m in the airport as I write this, and I have to say that waking up to snow covering the roads is making it all the easier to get on the plane! Terri will be in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. Friday coffee time will go on as normal.
Remember our upcoming events. I want to especially underline the Uno Tournament. This is an event for ALL ages. One of the reasons we have planned this event again is the opportunity for young people up through adults to be able to spend time together. It’s also a great time to invite your friends or others from the community to come and get to know us a little bit.
