Merry Christmas 2019
As we continue moving toward Christmas, the activity level at NDMC has been high. The GLAPS Christmas program was a week ago last Friday evening and the building was full of preschool students and their families. There was a lot of work put in by Mrs, Kelly and Miss Chloe along with some other helpers. The worship service was wonderful yesterday. We had a good number of visitors, and some special music for the prelude. The choir had some great special music. Thanks to them and to Betty Zook for all of the work she puts into directing. The children portrayed the nativity and sang a great song also. Thanks to Diana Boschulte and those who helped her. It’s so good to see the young people learning the story of Jesus’ birth.
Several from North Danvers attended the Christmas show at the Barn III last Sunday afternoon. It was a great show and a lot of fun. Many thanks to Annette Morman for making the arrangements for us. I think we need to make that a yearly event!
The worship service yesterday was wonderful! As I remarked during the service, during this Advent season we’ve had so much good special music every Sunday. Thanks to all who have shared their special talents. It was also very good to see all of the family and friends visiting. I’ve heard so many people talk about their plans for the coming week. As Christmas draws near, we obviously anticipate time spent with friends and family. Let’s be sure to think of those who might be lonely or struggling this Christmas season as well. God has richly blessed us. Let’s do our best to be a blessing to others as well.
Love you all, and Merry Christmas!
God bless,
Brian
