Trusting God No Matter What
We’ve got a busy week coming up at NDMC. The Danvers band concerts begin this coming Sunday and we are first up to provide the ice cream social. There will be a “mini” pie baking time this coming Friday starting at 8am. There are also still some sign-up spaces for volunteers to help out Sunday. This is always a lot of work, but also a great time of fellowship, too.
Josanne and I were very thankful for a few days away last week. Both of us were badly in need of a recharge. We heard some good music and had some good food. Just had some time to relax. I hope you have some get-aways planned for this summer. I know some of you have already taken trips and others will be.
We are continuing to pray for rain. I know it’s on all of our minds. We continue to trust God both in good times and in bad. As the song goes: Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name. (Matt Redman, “Blessed Be Your Name”)
We continue to praise the name of God and trust him whatever the situation.
Seems like lots of people in a waiting place when it comes to treatment for their health. It’s hard to be in that place of waiting to see what will happen. Let’s be praying for an extra measure of grace for those who are hurting, and let’s reach out to help encourage those who we can.
God bless,
Brian
