Smokey Mountain Update

Josanne and I are currently finishing up our time in Tennessee where we’ve been to celebrate her graduation with her MBA from Johnson University. It’s been a good time of rest and renewal. We certainly missed being with our NDMC family yesterday for Sunday worship. We did pray for you though, as you gathered. We’re looking forward to being back with you.

A special thank you to all of those who stepped into different roles because of our absence. A special thanks to Seth Dralle who taught adult Sunday School, and preached during the worship service. I’ve heard so far that everything went very well.

I’ve heard very good things about the Mother-Daughter brunch on Saturday. Thanks to all who participated to make that a success.

Remember that on May 20, Sunday after next, we will not be holding services at NDMC, but will be joining with fellow congregations for our community Pentecost service. This year the Pentecost service will be held at Carlock Mennonite Church at 10:15.

On May 27 we will have a reception to honor our graduates. We will also be having our end-of-the-month potluck that Sunday as well.
