61st Annual Relief Sale

Several of our folks were involved in the Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale this past weekend. A big thank you to all of those who participated in order to raise funds for missions, both local and global. Thanks to those who baked, donated, and transported. Thanks to those who worked flipping pancakes, working in the meat shop, or selling flowers and cards.

Pie baking day at North Danvers last week was as much fun as normal. It’s always neat to see so many people working together with one purpose. All of the chatter and laughter shows how much joy we can have even while we are working hard. It makes me think about the church. When we are all on task toward the same purpose, we are able to accomplish so much more than we ever could on our own, and we can have joy on the way!

We have some fun events upcoming. On the 31st we will be having the potluck for March and will have a storytelling session in the Fellowship Hall. Angela Roberts will be talking to us about the importance of sharing our stories. You will not want to miss this special event! Then on April 7th, we will be having a Luau! It might feel cool today, but be ready to be transported to sunny Hawaii as we share together in this time of fellowship. All of these events would be a great time to invite that friend, neighbor, or family member that you’ve been thinking about inviting to church. These are all great ways for us to get to know other people a bit better.

Hope to see you all next week!

God bless,

Brian
