Hoping for Spring
The calendar says it’s Spring, but when I checked the temperature and the forecast this morning, it doesn’t feel much like it. At some point we know that the sun will shine, and the temperatures will start to rise. Even though it may not feel like it now, we have that hope.
As followers of Christ, we believe that he is the promised King who has come into the world to make all things right. When we read the news and look at what’s going on around us however, there are times it feels like not much has changed. But we know that God’s promises are faithful and true, and that God’s Kingdom will prevail. Even though it may not feel like it now, we have that hope.
Remember that we’ll be having a potluck next week after the worship service. Following the worship service, there will be a storytelling session with Angela Roberts. On April 7th North Danvers will be having our first Luau. There will be a Hog Roast at 5:00 pm
Please invite friends and neighbors.
As Easter draws near, let’s make sure to be thinking about friends, family, and neighbors who we could invite to come along for some of these special events, or to our worship services. It’s a great time of year to be inviting others to come along to church.
Hope to see you next Sunday!
God bless,
Brian
