Holy Week 2021

For the second year holy week will look a bit different for us. We will be holding a short, in-person Good Friday service at 7pm Friday night. Our Easter service will be conducted as we have been having our Sunday morning services. The difference is that we will be participating in the Lord’s Supper together. For those who will be meeting in-person, we will have prepared portions of juice and bread for you as you enter the sanctuary. If you are joining us via live-stream, I would encourage you to have your juice and bread ready to go so that we can all participate together.

We will be finishing up our series on the Gospel of John on Easter Sunday. Next week we will begin a series through the book of Joshua. The series will be called “Trusting the Journey.” It’s going to focus on the way that we sometimes get “bogged down” along the way in the Christian life. We want to be further along, but we have to trust the journey—and each step of it—to get us to where we need to be.

To let you know, I’ll be taking two weeks of vacation beginning April 19th. I’ll be able to spend some time with Josanne during that time. Look for the announcements about the emergency contact information for while we are away.

Even though our holy week looks different again this year, I pray that you will spend time focused upon Christ’s sacrifice and what it means to us.

God bless, Brian
