If you weren’t here or streaming online, Jannie Martin presented her ministry, HUGS (Help Us Go to School), during the Sunday School hour and during the worship service. It was a wonderful presentation about how God is using Janni and her co-workers to help school-aged children in Guatemala. If you’d like to learn more or donate, you can go to this website: https://www.mceverumc.org/connect/hugs-help-us-go-to-school/, or get in touch with Janni through Twila Eickhorst.
It was nice to have a good turnout for our Potluck as well. Lots of good food and good desserts too. There was also a lot of good fellowship taking place. The time we spend around tables sharing together is so important.
We’ll be celebrating our graduates this coming Sunday during our fellowship time. We’ll also be continuing our current series next Sunday with Isaiah 14-15. The title of the sermon is “Pride Comes Before Destruction.” Make sure to join us!
God bless,
Brian
