Encouraging Others

Who is God putting in your path? We need to keep our eyes opened for those who need to experience God’s love through us. Most of us have a number of interactions with people every day. These interactions are opportunities for us to live out our faith. I hope we take the opportunity to encourage and to be a listening ear to those who are hurting.

Two weeks ago I challenged us all to pray for God to show us someone who needs to be drawn closer to him. I firmly believe that if we pray that prayer, that God will bring someone into our lives who needs him. Let’s make it a point to look for others with whom we can build meaningful relationships. God can work through us to make an eternal difference in the lives of others.

Don’t forget that next week Rich Bucher will be here on Sunday morning to present his portrayal of Bishop Joseph Stuckey. It should be a special time. I hope you’ll make a point to be there.

Also remember that June 26th we’ll be hosting the Glicks, missionaries to Mexico. This will be a great opportunity to hear about their work and to encourage them. I hope we have a great turnout to show our support of them.

Beginning July 3rd the sermon series will be on the book of Ephesians. We’ll be learning more of what it means to be an effective congregation.

God bless,

Brian
